Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Loredeck mobile application and the loredeckapp.com website (together, the "Service"), operated by Sandbox Labs, LLC ("Sandbox Labs," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Loredeck

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use online services without parental consent) to use the Service. By using Loredeck you represent that you meet this requirement and that any registration information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may sign in with an email address and password or through a supported identity provider such as Google. Notify us promptly at support@loredeckapp.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

Loredeck lets you create content such as ratings, reviews, posts, comments, collections, club discussions, profile details, and custom themes ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant Sandbox Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the Service so the features you use can work — for example, showing your review to other users or displaying a shared collection to your club.

You are responsible for your User Content. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, or post content that is unlawful, hateful, pornographic, or intended to deceive;
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or non-public parts of the Service;
• Scrape, bulk-download, or resell data from the Service, or use automated tools to access it except through interfaces we provide;
• Interfere with the operation of the Service, including by circumventing rate limits, security measures, or membership gates;
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law.

We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate these rules. In-app tools let you report content and block or mute other users.

If your content is reported, we keep a copy of it and of the report while we review them, and we may keep them after you delete the content or your account. This is what makes it possible to act on a report at all — otherwise anything reported could simply be deleted before anyone looked. See Reported content in our Privacy Policy for how long we keep these records and what we use them for.

5. Memberships and billing

Parts of the Service are free. Optional paid tiers (such as Loredeck Pro and, when available, Loredeck Premium) unlock additional features. Prices are shown in the app before you subscribe.

• Billing. Subscriptions are billed through your app store account (Google Play or Apple App Store). Sandbox Labs does not receive or store your full payment details.
• Renewal & cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your app store's subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; paid features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• Free trials. Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled first.
• Refunds. Refunds are handled by the app store under its policies.
• Invite and promotional codes. Codes that grant membership time or discounts are single-use unless stated otherwise, have no cash value, and may be modified or revoked in cases of abuse.
• Changes. We may change membership pricing or the features included in each tier prospectively; changes will not shorten a period you have already paid for.

6. Third-party content and services

Media metadata shown in Loredeck (titles, artwork, credits, release information, prices, and similar) comes from third-party sources, including IGDB, The Movie Database (TMDB), Google Books, Apple's iTunes Search API, MusicBrainz, ListenBrainz, Deezer, and others credited in the app under Settings → Data Sources. This product uses these services but is not endorsed or certified by them. Metadata accuracy and availability depend on those sources.

If you connect external accounts (such as Steam, PlayStation Network, or Xbox), you authorize Loredeck to import library, playtime, and trophy/achievement data from those services on your behalf. Those services have their own terms, and connections can be removed in Settings at any time.

Links in the Service may take you to third-party stores and streaming providers. As an Amazon Associate, Loredeck earns from qualifying purchases made through some of those links. Prices and availability shown for external stores are informational and may lag the store's live values.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by Sandbox Labs and protected by intellectual-property laws. Loredeck™ is a trademark of Sandbox Labs, LLC. These Terms don't grant you any right to use our branding, and you may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by law.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account in Settings → Data & Privacy, which removes your profile and personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export your data.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sandbox Labs disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that metadata from third-party sources will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sandbox Labs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will give notice in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
