Delete your Loredeck account

You can delete your Loredeck account and its associated data at any time, from inside the app. No email, form, or waiting period is required.
How to delete your account
- Open Loredeck on your device and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Data & Privacy.
- Under "Delete account", tap Delete account.
- Read the confirmation, then type your username when prompted.
- Tap Delete My Account. This takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.
Can't get into the app? If you've lost access to your account, email support@loredeckapp.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm it's you before acting, and respond within the timeframe required by law.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes the following from our production systems:
- Account and login details — your email address, username, and password hash.
- Profile — display name, avatar, bio, profile tags, and media-interest preferences.
- Your deck and tracking data — the media you track, statuses, ratings, reviews, watch and read logs, reading goals, completion dates, and collections.
- Social content — posts, comments, reactions, club memberships and discussions, and custom themes.
- Connected service tokens — Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox, Discord, and ListenBrainz credentials, along with the library data imported from them.
- Notification data — your device push token and notification preferences.
What is kept, and for how long
- Encrypted backups — residual copies of deleted database records persist in our encrypted backups for up to 7 days, after which they are overwritten. They are never used to restore a deleted account.
- Uploaded images — avatars and club banners are stored separately from the database and are not included in those backups, so they are removed outright. Copies already cached by a browser or CDN may persist for a time.
- Anonymized and aggregated data — figures such as overall feature-usage counts, which are not linked to you and cannot be used to identify you.
- Purchase records held by the app stores — subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, with entitlements managed by RevenueCat. Their transaction records are governed by those companies' own policies and retention rules, not ours. Deleting your Loredeck account does not cancel an active subscription — cancel that through Google Play or the App Store.
Deleting your account is permanent. Your deck, reviews, logs, goals and collections cannot be recovered afterwards, and a deleted username may become available to other users.
Other privacy rights
Depending on where you live — for example under GDPR or the CCPA — you may also have the right to access or correct your personal information, or to object to certain processing.
